Go to certiport.com. This is where you will create a user account. A Certiport user account is required to enable one to take the Microsoft Office Specialist exams
.Click on the upper right where it says login, register.
Great. Now go ahead and click the register button in the upper right hand side of the screen.
Enter the data in each field. You will see a red asterisk next to the field name if the data is required. If a field is not required, please try and fill it in anyway. When complete, click the next button
Continue to enter the account setup information, paying close attention to the red asterisks. For your username, it is recommended that you use your CSN student email address. When complete, make sure you jot down your password somewhere safe.
Please enter your personal information. Very importantly, you must enter your Student ID, even though there is no red asterisk. Please double check it for accuracy. as your student ID is used as a key identifier for your exam results.
This profile screen is a series of questions about you For information purposes only. There are no right or wrong answers. Don't sweat the responses. Just fill it in to the best of your ability.
Now, you are going to specify the type of account. You are creating an account to be a test candidate. Therefore, check the box next to take an exam or prepare for an exam.
Next to the MIcrosoft Title, click on the button that says register.
The Microsoft screen pops up. Just click Use my certiport data.
But don't hit submit quite yet. You must click on the Microsoft EULA agreement. Click on it, and it will open
You can read the end user license agreement, and then click Yes, I accept. You must accept the agreement to take the Microsoft exams.
You will now see next to the Microsoft title that your are registered.
At the end, you will see check marks next to all of the steps. When you click finish, your account is created. Once again, please remember your user ID and password for this Certiport account. When you take an exam, you will be required to use these sign in credentials.
Once you clicked the finish button, the last step is for you to enter your Exam Group ID. Your instructor has provided this to you. Please refer to your course syllabus. You must have this exam group ID in your Certiport account so your exam results are routed to your instructor. Please do not omit this step, or your instructor may not know if you took the exam!
